Journal 003 Team player

As a molecular biologist, I don't like to do experiment by myself. 

In stead, I like to lead a team to conduct projects by sharing my experience in the field, guiding the direction of research, solving problems, and communications. There are so many interesting things to do rather than sitting in front of bench just for one experiment. This idea getting strong and stronger, when I've fished several cases by leading a mini team since 2020.

It sounds controversial because my training is be a "independent scientist". However, I feel I can multiple my potential by team, which made me like a "dependent scientist". 

Still seeking a way for the transition.

Journal 001 Cypress Trail hiking

This weekend, I had a hiking for 5 miles in the forest, Cypress Trail. The trail is quiet, sandy and rocky with shades of trees. It took me almost 3 hours to finish a round trip. It is worth to drive for 90 min from Phoenix to Payson via route 87. The temperature was around 70s in the morning, while 90 in the Phoenix. The temperate forest remind me of the time in the east coast when I arrived US.

Journal 004 Professional service

Recently, I have a potential cooperation about data analysis. When I was glancing materials I though: These requests are easy to me. I could finish it in couple days without any problem, then make a fancy and human readable report in a week.  Next moment, I realized I am providing people call "professional service". It is something easy to me, but not people without training and experiences. I'm proud of my self have a opportunity to contribute the society.
